What’s Available in Surplus?

  • Address: 7905 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 84088 (located on the northeast side of the building, accessible by the alley between the Auxiliary Services Building and Master Muffler)

Available surplus furniture, equipment, books, and supplies change regularly as we distribute old items and pick up new items. Items determined to be useful are stored in the Surplus Warehouse for one (1) month. Surplus books and computer equipment are not available through the auction.

If you are a District employee and need something particular or would like to browse, please call, email, or visit us. 

Surplus items that have not been redistributed within the District after a month will be posted on the Public Surplus website for auction. To view Jordan School District auctions on the Public Surplus website, go to "Browse auctions within area" and select "Region: Utah" and "Agency: Jordan School District."

  • Auctions are posted approximately once a month.  Auctions typically start on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. MST, and each auction runs for one (1) week.
  • Winning bidders have one (1) week from the end of the auction to pay for and pick up their items.
  • Customers must pay online through the Public Surplus website; absolutely no in-person payments will be accepted. JSD is unable to assist with payment problems. Questions about payments should be directed to Public Surplus support.
  • If you see something on auction that your school or department needs for District use, please contact the Surplus Warehouse to have it removed from auction and transferred to your school. On the last day of the auction, items are considered sold and are no longer available for schools. 
  • Employees interested in surplus items for personal use must purchase them through the online auction.
